About Us
Hi!
We’re a group of three friends from highschool who decided to found a book club and publish our opinions and reviews of the books we’ve read and discussed on this blog.
Our inspiration for this came both from wanting to stay in contact despite studying in different cities as well as having a place to talk about the things we enjoy and maybe share that enthusiasm with others.
Due to university we don’t have as much time on our hands as we’d like to (aka none at all), so be sure to follow us on Instagram and subscribe to our newsletter to be notified whenever we post something new!

The Team

Hello. My name is Lisa (as this is most definitely not a text written by Franzi and Lea, why on earth would you think that??), however some “special folks” prefer to call me Goose. Alongside my flourishing career in the arts and gaming sector I study Molecular Medicine and like to play DnD with my friends. I enjoy receiving dinosaur cakes for my b-day, and then naming them Jonathan Bobbert.
When it comes to the blog, I am mostly in charge of writing summaries, drawing our epic instagram posts (you should check them out if you haven’t yet!) and generally making things look pretty by first designing them and then tormenting Franzi with actually implementing them.

Hello there folks. I am Franzi speaking here (this is not Lisa in a blonde wig please believe me). I study physics and dabble in philosophy every once in a fortnight. I am very passionate about spreading the word about games I like cough cough HADES cough (please play it, Franzi really wants you to play it). Furthermore, I am a creature of creativity (I sing and sew epically) and a connoisseur of fine wines. Funky music like Chili Con Carne by the Real Group really tickles my fancy (that song slaps hard), or really anything by Jacob Collier. Occasionally I bake gorgeous dinosaur cakes and they are very cute :))
Blogwise (is this a word? oh well) I manage all things related to the website, write rewiews and do Lisa’s bidding when it comes to realizing design choices into what you see here. I also do our research when we think we’re in legal trouble (big nono).

Ey y’all, this is your Captain Lea speaking (not Lisa and Franzi stacked on top of each other in a trench coat nonono). I am the caffeinated one of the bunch (it`s worse when she has sugar, trust me), who is sometimes unable to stop laughing when she listens to seagulls (you better believe this happened because it did).
I kinda study Molecular Biotechnology in Heidelberg (it` s complicated) and am (most importantly) an amazing chef, girlboss and mother of Franz (a grumpy old man cat, who hates my friends :(( ).
I also partake in dino cake making sometimes (at least I watch as it’s being made by others).
Bloggally speaking, I am the motivational speaker and emotional support system of the group, aka I don’t really have anything I do regularly (and may tend to miss the occasional deadline). I nevertheless like to keep our instagram (and meetings) spicy with hilarious captions and comments and also write reviews for the blog (we’re very proud of you for that Lea).

Support Us!
pls. we’re students.
Are you sick of the boring, annotated, asthetically pleasing pictures of book bloggers in your Instagram feed? Then be sure to check out our epic, original, illustrated reviews made by Lisa! (Another upside: you won’t miss it when we post something new).

If you would like to support us in the quest of living and gathering an amount of books to casually compete with a dragon’s hoard – or of course, fuel our tired little student brains with sweet caffeine – consider doing that over here!
